We do not use your information for advertising, and we do not sell it to anyone.

Children's privacy

SparkWrights serves children under 13. We comply with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA). We collect information about minor students only through their parent or guardian during the enrollment process. We do not knowingly collect information directly from children under 13 without verified parental consent.

Student data is used solely to deliver educational services. We do not share student information with third parties for commercial purposes.

We share information only with services we use to operate SparkWrights:

  • Stripe — payment processing. Subject to Stripe's privacy policy.

  • Zoom (or equivalent) — live class delivery. Parents receive a Zoom link after enrollment.

We do not share your information with advertisers, data brokers, or unrelated third parties.

Data retention

We retain enrollment information for as long as your child is active with SparkWrights and for a reasonable period afterward for record-keeping. Credential records (Spark badges and certificates) are retained indefinitely so learners can verify them. You may request deletion of your personal data at any time by emailing us.

Refund Policy

Our refund and cancellation policy

Effective date: July 1, 2026  ·  SparkWrights Academy LLC, Minnesota, USA

The short version: full refund within 7 days of purchase. After the cohort starts, we offer a prorated refund for sessions not yet attended. We want every family to feel confident enrolling.

Full refund — before the cohort starts

You are entitled to a full refund if you cancel at least 7 days before the first session of your enrolled cohort. No questions asked.

To request a refund, email hello@sparkwrights.com with your enrollment confirmation number and the word "refund" in the subject line. Refunds are processed within 5–7 business days back to your original payment method via Stripe.

Prorated refund — after the cohort starts

If your child has attended one or more sessions and needs to withdraw, we will refund the cost of all remaining unattended sessions, calculated as follows:

  • Apprentice: $349 ÷ 10 sessions = $43.63 per session
  • Journeyman: $399 ÷ 10 sessions = $49.88 per session
  • Master: $449 ÷ 10 sessions = $56.13 per session

For example, if your child attends 3 sessions of the Apprentice cohort and then withdraws, you would receive a refund for the remaining 7 sessions: 7 × $34.90 = $244.30.

Prorated refund requests must be made within 48 hours of the last attended session.

No refund situations

We are unable to offer refunds in the following circumstances:

  • Cancellation requests made less than 7 days before the cohort start date with no extenuating circumstances
  • Withdrawal after the final session has been attended
  • Failure to attend sessions without prior notice — missed sessions are not refundable unless there is a documented medical or family emergency

Extenuating circumstances

We understand that life happens. Medical emergencies, serious family situations, and similar circumstances will be considered on a case-by-case basis. If you're dealing with something serious, please reach out and we will do our best to work with you.

Class cancellation by SparkWrights

In the unlikely event that SparkWrights cancels a cohort before it begins, all enrolled families will receive a full refund within 5 business days, along with priority enrollment in the next available cohort.

If an individual session is cancelled due to instructor illness or technical issues, it will be rescheduled at no additional cost. If rescheduling is not possible, a credit for that session will be applied to your account.

Discount codes

Refunds for purchases made with a discount code will be calculated based on the amount actually paid, not the original list price.

How to request a refund

Email hello@sparkwrights.com with:

  • Your name and your child's name
  • Your enrollment confirmation number
  • The cohort you enrolled in
  • The reason for your refund request

We respond to all refund requests within 2 business days.
